The Soul Christmas Appeal is a wonderful opportunity for us all to make a real difference in the lives of some of Newcastle’s most vulnerable. By donating to the Christmas Appeal, you can help provide much needed resources and festive cheer to those who need it most.
Getting involved is simple. You can donate online, drop off items at Soul Hub, or even organize a collection drive within your community. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps to spread the spirit of giving and compassion.

3) Donate Every Day Soul Essentials
Collect bulk items that Soul needs to support Guests every day (including Christmas). There are many items that we always need to provide for our guests, why not get together as a group of colleagues, friends or family to collect bulk items for us this Christmas. Below is a list of the things we most need:
Breakfast Packs:
- Cereals (Weetbix, Nutigrain, Cornflakes, Just Right)
- Tin baked Beans, Spaghetti.
- Raw Sugar
- Spreads (Vegemite, Peanut Butter, Jam, Honey etc…)
Café Packs:
- Long Life Milk (1L Cartons)
- Raw Sugar
- Coffee, Tea, Milo
Hygiene Packs:
- Shampoo/ Conditioner
- Toothpaste & Toothbrushes
- Body Wash/Soap
- Deodorant
- Razors
How to to drop off your donations:
Donations can be dropped of to Soul Hub, Level 1, 437 Hunter St., during our public opening hours:
- 7am till 2pm Monday to Thursday
- 7am till 8.30am Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Please Note: Donations can be dropped off from Monday November 3rd. The Last day for donations is Thursday 11th December.
If you are dropping off a large delivery, please call us on (02) 4926 1758 or email reception@soulhub.org.au to arrange a time before dropping in.
