The pumpkins are grown by young people part of Pathfinders Tilbuster station in Armidale, teaching them both agriculture and life skills.

Pathfinders then donate the fruits (or veggies) of their labor (in the tonnes) to charities, locals & businesses across Tamworth, Newcastle and Sydney.

Dozens of locals and businesses in the Newcastle CBD received pumpkins free-of-charge. Pathfinders CEO, Alan sharing, “It’s all about generosity. Young people who come through the pumpkin run stand taller at the end of it.”

Pathfinders and Soul Hub share the vision of creating spaces where all people can belong too, particularly those who fall through the cracks.

Thanks to Pathfinders, Soul and OzHarvest will be able to distribute hundreds of pumpkins to our communities most vulnerable and in need for days to come!
