Hunter Culinary Association
Recently Soul Hub’s Rick Prosser was invited to attend the Hunter Culinary Association signature calendar event, the annual “2023 Food Fight.”
Four chefs, each at the top of their game, prepared one lunch course with each course matched with a Hunter Valley wine. Guests were then tasked with voting for the dish they preferred at the end of the gourmet feast.
Hunter Culinary Association’s Chairman Gus Maher invited Rick to the platform to share a few words around the work of Soul Hub. To Rick’s great surprise Gus presented a $10,000 cheque from the Hunter Culinary Association in support of Soul Hub.
At the conclusion of Rick’s address, a couple present in a crowd of 350 conspired together for a spontaneous auction thanks to Selector Magazine and artist Boo Seeker. This raised a further $5,000 towards Soul Hub.
