Volunteer Story – Bodhi

From Self-Doubt to Soul Hub: Meet Bodhi!

When Bodhi first came to Soul Hub, he was wrestling with self-doubt and trying to find his place in the world. He found himself wondering what he was giving to the community around him. “I needed a change,” he said. “I decided I wanted to give back.”

Fast-forward 11 months, and Bodhi is a Pantry pro—thriving in the fast pace, building confidence with every shift, and finding real joy in helping others.

What keeps him coming back? The simple but powerful moment of watching someone receive the help they need. Bodhi knows he’s part of something bigger than himself—something that’s changing lives.

He’s also quick to share the lighter side of volunteering. Like the time a Guest accidentally took his water bottle, thinking it was a pantry item! Or the hilarious moment a Guest confessed they’d never heard of mac and cheese—Bodhi was absolutely baffled!

For Bodhi, volunteering isn’t just about service—it’s about transformation. “Volunteering broadens your perspective,” Bodhi says. “It creates friendships and contributes to something that benefits everyone.”

We’re so grateful for Bodhi and the heart he brings to Soul Hub.
