John says “Service of those in need has been a habit of mine formed whilst at school in Sydney a hundred years ago! It is an ‘itch I have to scratch’ – just part of me I guess?!

Anyway, since my wife, Jenny, and I moved to Newy a couple of years ago I had to find somewhere to satisfy my ‘itch’ – and Soul fits perfectly! I am the ‘names guy’ on Thursday brekkie. Useless at most practical jobs except I can yarn with anyone and can remember their name (names are my ‘super-power!).

I love Soul – great people, no egos and providing a welcome to all”.
