Laura has been volunteering with Soul for a couple of months and we just love her!

Laura has a kind heart and a lot of love to give. She is part of our reception crew- often the first place guests & friends of Soul come when they enter our space.

Our reception volunteers provide a warm welcome to EVERYONE that comes through our doors- but that’s far from all they do.

They take care of our laundry (often doing 6+ loads of guest & Soul laundry daily), they help triage visitors, booking guest them into doctors, chiropractic & hairdressers appointments, they help the doctors with guest notes & files, they man our phone & email, they help guests access hygiene packs, help them fill out forms & access the information they need, and so much more…all with welcoming smile

Soul simply could not exist without our incredible growing team of 290+ volunteers, who each help to create a place for our guests to call, in Laura’s words: “a second home”.
