This is not a changeroom.
Actually, this is Kevin’s changeroom, but Kevins name is not actually Kevin.
Kevin has suffered from mental illness for a very long time and as a consequence has lived on the streets of Newcastle for many years.
Last week, a local business manager mentioned that Kevin was using his stairwell as a changeroom. No one wants to get changed in public.
Most of Kevins food and hygiene products are supplied from Soul.
In the last 12months, Soul provide vulnerable people live Kevin with 5,889 hampers and 5,887 hygiene packs. Hampers and Hygiene packs are not given out at the same time and so I’m surprised that these numbers are so very close.
Our hygiene packs are distributed on request meaning in 2022, our reception team were asked for hygiene products by vulnerable people 5,889 times.
