Taste of Soul February 2022

Soul Café hosted the vivacious ladies from Women Embrace Adventure (WEA) for a Taste of Soul. They enjoyed some gourmet homestyle cooking, took a tour of Soul and heard stories of belonging and transformation from some of our Soul ladies. Our Soul crew met some inspiring ladies and heard a few tall tales of WEA adventures. It was a wonderful time and we made many new friends.

As they left the Taste of Soul many of the ladies expressed surprise saying “Wow, I didn’t know …” Some ladies didn’t know that Soul is ‘more than a meal’, others didn’t know that Soul provides haircuts and some ladies didn’t even know that something like Soul Café existed in Newcastle for vulnerable people.

We’d love to thank Katrina, Sharon & all the ladies from Women Embrace Adventure for visiting Soul and for the generous gift of $4676.50.
