Laura is a new volunteer at Soul. This is her 4th shift. Laura knows what it is like to be vulnerable.
I like to give back to my community and chose Soul after I heard all the tragic stories of people losing their jobs in 2020. I feel very grateful that my life is good. I try not to take anything for granted. People can all of a sudden find themselves without a job, a home, etc through no fault of their own. Everyone can help in some way, even if it seems only small to them.
