A trained hairdresser provides free haircuts on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 9am to 12:30pm. A fresh haircut can improve self-esteem, confidence and personal wellbeing, helping guests feel valued and more comfortable in themselves. It may also support guests preparing for appointments, interviews or important personal occasions.
To access this service, see reception in the morning to put your name down on the list for the day, and rab a meal or drink while you wait.
To help guests access a free haircut, you can donate to our ‘Convergence of Help’. This community of support relies on funding to provide guests with additional support and mentoring, build connections with local businesses and services, and co-ordinate volunteers.
