VOCAL provides free, confidential and trauma-informed support for guests affected by crime, violence or trauma. A visiting worker can listen, provide emotional support, explain available rights and services, and offer practical assistance with safety planning, counselling pathways, reporting, court processes or other recovery needs. This free drop-in service is available every Wednesday, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.

To help guests connect with VOCAL in a welcoming and safe environment, you can donate to our ‘Convergence of Help’. This community of support relies on funding to provide guests with additional support and mentoring, build connections with local businesses and services, and co-ordinate volunteers.
